Bridgeborn Background
Founded in 2002, Bridgeborn is an innovative, registered small business headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA with offices in Arlington, VA and Southern Pines, NC. Since the company’s inception, Bridgeborn has invested in the Research and Development of Bridgeworks©, a software platform for the creation of interactive rich media and data driven visualization solutions. Deployed and used in over 30+ countries, Bridgeworks© solutions enable visibility and transparency into data through advanced visualization and reporting.
Early in our company’s history, Bridgeborn was awarded multiple contracts through the Department of Defense to create Bridgeworks© powered solutions in support of the NAVY and Air Force as well as a flagship project for DARPA. Starting in 2005, Bridgeborn was awarded multiple contracts through DHS to build the presidentially mandated Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP). HSEEP provides for the national standardization of self-sustaining exercise programs focused on improving the country's capabilities to respond to all- hazards incidents including terrorist events. Successful delivery on this work resulted in additional IT contracts as well as new work providing Policy guidance to DHS/FEMA and Operations support for major, national level exercises.
Over the last 2 years, Bridgeborn has continued to grow providing mission-based support to a range of Government customers. This work includes a large, multi-year prime contract supporting USAID providing IT and Research services as well as new IT-focused contracts supporting US Army and DARPA. Most recently, Bridgeborn has been awarded multiple contracts in support of customers in the Intelligence community. In 2008 Bridgeborn created TriLink Systems, a subsidiary based in Millersville, Maryland that provides innovative training and education solutions as well as Subject Matter Expertise to the International Power and Energy marketplace.
