Bridgeborn Contracted to Support Department of Homeland Security National Level Exercise 2010 (NLE-10)

Bridgeborn to provide key leadership positions and exercise management roles in exercise conduct areas

Virginia Beach, VA – June 24, 2009 – Bridgeborn today announced that the L-3 Communications Team, which includes Bridgeborn, was awarded a contract through the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to support National Level Exercise 2010 (NLE-10). NLE-10 is a Tier I exercise that will focus on improving the Nation’s ability to respond to an Improvised Nuclear Device (IND). NLE-10 will be conducted in May 2010 over several days with multiple, near simultaneous, simulated IND detonations in the exercise conduct areas. It will be the first exercise to fully incorporate a National Level exercise with the Eagle Horizon exercise series, which is a National Level Continuity of Operations/Continuity of Government (COOP/COG) exercise.

“We’re pleased to have won this competitive award along with our prime contractor, L-3 Communications” said Katharine Murphy, Bridgeborn Executive Vice President. “Working in support of DHS on NLE-10, Bridgeborn will provide several key leadership positions and exercise management roles for NLE-10. Having supported DHS for the last 5 years, our team has the experience needed to support this critical effort within our nation’s on-going preparedness goal.”

“With this most recent win, Bridgeborn continues to grow our business in support the Department of Homeland Security. Since 2004, we have continued growth and expansion within DHS by providing IT services and solutions, policy guidance as well as training and exercise consulting and support” said Bridgeborn CEO, Tim Ambrosino. “We are pleased to continue our partnership with the L-3 team and look forward to our continued support of the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.”
