Bridgeborn to provide technical services related to reporting and visualization of Agency data and information

Virginia Beach, VA – August 19, 2011 – Bridgeborn today announced that it was awarded its second Task Order as part of the Social Impact team in support of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) Transparency, Accountability and Performance (TAP) Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). Bridgeborn’s support of this Task Order will focus on exploring the range of possibilities for advanced reporting and data visualization strategies for increased transparency and visibility into Agency data. “We’re pleased to have won this competitive award along with our prime contractor, Social Impact” said Matthew Sarro, Bridgeborn Executive Vice President. “With this most recent win, Bridgeborn continues to expand our footprint within USAID while expanding our capabilities. We look forward to supporting USAID in its goal of using new and innovative tools, technologies and methods for improved reporting and communication of data and information.”

Bridgeborn currently supports the Knowledge Services Center (KSC) in the CIO’s office of USAID. Bridgeborn’s first award on the TAP IQC was for development of a Programming Resources Toolbox using Drupal, which is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2011. Other significant deliverables include the USAID funded development of a Training Delivery Platform (TDP) to the Afghan Technical Vocational Institute in Kabul, Afghanistan; the TDP used Bridgeborn’s proprietary, patented 3D visualization technology - Bridgeworks©- for the creation of interactive courseware to train and educate students on basics of automotive repair and maintenance.
