Bridgeborn Awarded Contract to Develop Vehicle Maintenance Training Solution for Afghan Technical Vocational Institute

Solution to use Bridgeworks© Data Visualization Platform to power Interactive, 3D Training Delivery Platform

Virginia Beach, VA – May 8, 2008 – Bridgeborn, a leading systems design, engineering and integration company, today announced that it was awarded a contract to develop and deploy a Training Delivery Platform (TDP) for the Afghan Technical Vocational Institute (ATVI) in Kabul, Afghanistan. The TDP will address critical needs within Afghanistan for vocational training and education in vehicle maintenance, operations and repair.

Powered by Bridgeworks© – Bridgeborn’s data visualization platform – the TDP will use completely interactive, web-deliverable 3D graphical environments to educate students at ATVI on fundamentals of Diesel Combustion Engines, Transmission, Transaxles, and the Brake and Suspension System.

“The Bridgeworks© Training Delivery Platform will address critical education needs that currently exist in Afghanistan through a partnership with the Afghan Technical Vocational Institute. As we continue to build out our curriculum, we’re looking to international companies to deliver the best and most appropriate technology solutions” said Sardar Roshan, ATVI President. “Bridgeborn’s interactive 3D technology gives our Afghan students the ability to learn complex maintenance and repair procedures on their own time in the computer lab or in the classroom. Using this training solution, our students will be better prepared for their hands on training with actual engines, and they can access this training curriculum as a refresher course in the future.”

“This contract win further demonstrates the wide range of application for Bridgeworks© powered solutions such as our web-based Training Delivery Platform. We are pleased to see our continued growth and expansion in international markets” said Bridgeborn CEO, Tim Ambrosino. “With this most recent contract win, we now have major international clients in Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia in industries including Power and Energy, Medical and Automotive. We look forward to supporting the Afghan Technical Vocational Institute as we continue to grow our international business.”
