In August of 2007, Bridgeborn announced a partnership with Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) in Savannah, GA. AASU established the Cyber Security Research Institute to provide subject matter expertise in cyber and homeland security issues as it relates to highly specific academic courses, training, and research and development projects. The Institute is one of the first of its kind in the nation and is unique in that it combines the societal and behavioral sciences of criminal justice with the technology sciences of computer science, information technology, and computer engineering.
Through this unique partnership, Bridgeborn will develop a Visualization lab featuring leading edge solutions for data fusion, integration and visualization. To support the needs of the lab, Bridgeborn will leverage Bridgeworks©, its patent-pending data visualization platform that drives intelligence through visualization.
